Children's Drop-In Center

Located in the heart of Lake Forest, the Gorton Children’s Drop-In Center (DIC) serves as an “as-needed” home away from home for little one(s) while you do what you need to do – for a few hours, or a few days a week!

Open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Children’s Drop-In Center is a 25 year-old membership-based program that offers flexible, early childhood care, education and summer camp activities for children ages six weeks to six years. Each year, children from 200 area families enjoy this nurturing, safe, convenient and fun environment that boasts nearly 2,100 square feet of brightly colored childcare space spread over three classrooms and a private, outdoor play yard.
