Curriculum
The Drop-In Center follows a weekly themed curriculum, and each age group enjoys age-appropriate activities based on each week’s learning topic. Examples of past themes include: Winter Wonderland, Insects, Get Growing, Dinosaurs and The Post Office.
In addition, informal daily program includes:
- Indoor free play with developmentally appropriate toys
- Small group and large group activities
- Creative art projects
- Outdoor play, weather permitting
- Snack
- Language activities
- Music and movement
