Gene Siskel Film Center Series

In 2015, Gorton Community Center partnered with the Gene Siskel Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to offer critically acclaimed independent films each month, September through May.
Each film begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $11 online and $13 at the door. For more information and to buy tickets, go to gortoncenter.org/film.

Refreshments will be available in the newly renovated Glore Solarium an hour before show time.
The Gene Siskel Film Center has a long-standing mission of presenting significant world cinema in a non-commercial context. Established as the Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago more than 40 years ago, it was renamed in 2000 to honor the late film critic who possessed a laser-like ability to discern quality in everything, especially film. Gorton is honored to continue its relationship with the Center. For more information about the Center, visit them at www.siskelfilmcenter.org.
