           Creativity Workshop- "Start Where You Are"

Face your creative fears head on. This 4 week workshop will help participants to name their goals and move toward the creative endeavors that they have been longing to begin.  With the help of guides such as "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron and others, students will be encouraged to embrace that inner voice that has been whispering ideas in need of action. In-class projects using various medium to encourage self expression, journaling, weekly reflections and the support of the group will help that painting, play, novel, idea- become a reality. 

4 Weeks- 1.5 hr class, $250 per person. Minimum of 8 participants, Maximum or 12

 

Instructor- Susan Covell Sands is an artist and designer living and working in Lake Bluff. With an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts and a Masters in Clinical Community Counseling, Susan knows first-hand the trials and tribulations of a creative life and what's needed to help clients realize their own unique vision. 

 

Faithful Assistant - Melissa M. Williams has B.A.s in Art History and English, and was a copywriter for 15 years. She currently keeps off the streets working as a freelance writer, while raising her family to be creative in Lake Bluff.
