Location: Stuart Community Room

Laugh along as some of Chicago's funniest performers make-up scenes right before your eyes!

Experience the best Improvisational comedy of your life with League of Improv Heroes.  Featuring Second City teachers and alumnae, this troupe is sure to entertain. The perfomance includes performers who create characters, scenes and songs on the spot. We've got Chicago's very own Jimmy Carrane, renouned for his work in this genre, curating a spectacular evening of short form games and scenic improv with the League of Improv Heroes. Daily Herald's Scott Morgan sums it up best, "Local residents have earned the right to be a bit smug when it comes to boasting about Chicago's impact on comedy. After all, famous comedians like Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Bill Murray and Wheaton's Belushi brothers honed their comic chops in Chicago-area sketch or improvisational comedy theaters like The Second City." Come experience this sizzling genre right here at Gorton!
