Storytelling For Everyone Intensive
Personal narrative has exploded over the last several years, with new shows, slams, radio programs, and podcasts surfacing constantly. People from all walks of life are taking the stage to share their own stories in front of packed houses across the Chicagoland area and the U.S.
In business, solid storytelling is a crucial component in communicating with colleagues and clients.
And who doesn't want to be able to share memorable stories over dinner or drinks with friends and family?
This workshop will focus on discovering and developing your own unique voice as a storyteller. You will be introduced to the many tools and techniques that are at your disposal and have a chance to experiment with them in a fun, failure-free environment. The entire process, from story generation to the fine details of delivery, will be covered in an engaging work-on-your-feet manner. No experience or advance preparation necessary. Participants will leave with a polished story and the skill set to create and tell many more.
This class has been selling out in Chicago every month for the last five years, and is being offered in Lake Forest for the first time.
